GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - Thembalethu Court was honored by the presence of Judge President, John Hlophe, during the launch of the Eastern Circuit Court Local Division.
This is the first time in the history of South Africa that a High Court is available in a township.
"We want to bring justice to the people. Now they don't have to spend valuable time traveling far to get to court," Judge Hlophe said during his opening address.
