GEORGE NEWS - George Lions Club has been part of the local community for over 50 years. In this time they have had many successful projects aimed at the help and upliftment of the George community.
The Lions have launched a new project and once again call on your support to achieve success. This project, 'Feed The Night Shelter', was started in February 2015 after visiting the George Night Shelter and identifying the dire need for food and support.
Their aim is to get as many members of the community and companies to make a monthly donation, small or big.
Option 1: Provide food to the Lions every month and they will deliver it.
Option 2: Set up a fixed monthly deposit into an account created for this project.
Food will be bought and delivered to the George Night Shelter, which will help to alleviate the shortage. Help the George Lions Club feed a hungry mouth now.
