GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - In the wake of the Victoria Street building disaster, George Round Table 30 is stepping up to aid the families of victims.
Chairman Stefan du Plessis says many of the families and survivors are facing unimaginable hardship - loss of loved ones, and for some, the inability to work again - and will need help going forward.
"Our mission is urgent: We're collaborating with Food Socks to provide food and essential hampers, offering these at cost, so all proceeds go directly to those who need it.
What your donation means:
- R600/month = food for a family for one month
- R3 000 total = food and essential items for one family for 3 months
Our goal: Raise R400 000 to support as many families as possible
