GEORGE NEWS - The Half-Collared Kingfisher Trail in the Wilderness section of the Garden Route National Park remains closed to hikers due to high water levels along the pathway leading to the waterfall.
SANParks has confirmed that sections of the trail are still waterlogged, making it unsafe for public access at this stage.
The maintenance team is currently on site assessing conditions and carrying out necessary work to restore safe passage along the route.
Visitors are advised to check for further updates before planning any hikes in the area.
