GEORGE NEWS - Garden Route Mall visited eight NGOs in George on 26 January to donate funds the mall received at its gift-wrapping stations during the holiday season.
"We had two gift-wrapping stations situated at Pick n Pay and Woolworths over six days and managed to raise R57 000," said marketing manager Tumi Masango.
"The organisations mentioned that it has been difficult with Covid-19 and the extra expenses occurred and these donations will assist immensely. We would like to thank all the customers [for their] support in making a difference to our communities and their continuous generosity towards a good cause."
