GEORGE NEWS - The Conville police opened a missing person file for further investigation following the disappearance of the 53-year-old Joan Singrew from Rosemoor, George.
According to Lt Col Malcolm Pojie, head of the Western Cape SAPS media centre, Singrew was last seen at her home at around 07:30 on Thursday 21 November.
"She was reported as missing by her daughter, that same evening, as there was no trace of her upon the daughter's return home. Conville police activated all resources in search of the missing person, but without any success yet."
Pojie said a detective team from Conville SAPS has been hard at work to trace Singrew and is following every available lead.
A family member has posted on social media that Singrew had to report for work at 11:00 on Thursday, but never pitched up.
"We appeal to anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Joan to contact the investigating officer, Clive Davids on 074 997 1279 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or through the 2 MySAPS mobile application, anonymously."
