GEORGE NEWS - The George July is around the corner and it will be an unforgettable day, taking place on Saturday 6 July at Apprentice, just across the George Airport.
It promises a unique combination of wine, gin and beer tastings, music and entertainment as well as the wonderful opportunity to support fundraising for the Seven Passes Initiative. The George July is an annual, absolute must-do for every one!
With a variety of top wineries, gin distilleries and breweries showcasing their best products, you can know it is going to tickle your taste buds. There will be wine, gin and beer for everyone's taste, maybe you will discover a new favourite from our own area.
The George July does not only offer a variety of drinks and snacks, but also networking opportunities for businesses, fashion and live entertainment from Etienne Steyn and Audrey Kritzinger. The day promises to create wonderful memories and be an unforgettable experience.
With that said, the annual Miss South Cape will also be part of this day. There will be fashion from all over the region.
Sponsoring a "hobby horse" in one of the races costs only R1 500 and is open to businesses and individuals. The owner of a hobby horse must provide a jockey himself and then dress him/her in a uniform - professional, fun or unique. This is a good opportunity for businesses and friends to challenge each other. Contact the organisers to help you with a challenge.
The entry fee for spectators and everyone who wants to enjoy entertainment from 12:00 to 18:00 is R350 per person. This includes all the wine, gin and beer tasting events as well as the delicious food that will be served throughout the day.
Guests get to wear their red-carpet outfits, inspired by the theme 'Ride the wave'.
Tickets are already available on Quicket and are selling fast, so make sure you book before they sell out. If you want to sponsor a horse or require more information, send an e-mail to amy@aecevents.co.za.
Do not miss out on this fantastic opportunity to network, have fun, and support local businesses while also giving back to the community.
