GEORGE NEWS - The Garden Route Dam level is currently at 43.31%.
18 mm of rainfall has been recorded by the George Municipality over the past week.
Water restrictions
Emergency tariffs and tougher water restrictions came into effect 2 August after the dam level dropped to below 45%.
The new Section 2C restrictions limit household consumption to 15 kilolitres per month or 480 litres per day (120 litres per person in an average household of four).
