GEORGE NEWS - The Garden Route SPCA (GRSPCA) did their part for the animals in their care on Mandela Day last week during a fundraising drive at Eden Willow Preschool where they sold muffins and coffee to parents who dropped their children at school.
Despite the drizzle and cold, they had an incredibly successful and well-supported morning at the school.
"We're thrilled to announce that we reached our target and had so much fun doing it! Huge thanks to our sponsors, Precap Pick n Pay, for their generous support and to the staff and moms of Eden Willow for their donations, support, and hard work," said the SPCA's Sam Trietsch.
They also extended their heartfelt gratitude to the SPCA volunteers and the Glenwood House School's parents and hostel residents who came out to support them. "Your enthusiasm and community spirit are truly inspiring."
