GEORGE NEWS - We all recall Fix, the black dog who was owned by Johan du Preez, the homeless man from George who died in 2020.
Fix was surrendered to the Garden Route SPCA (GRSPCA) from where he was quickly adopted into a life of love and luxury.
However, due to his owner emigrating soon and unable to take Fix with, the beautiful black cross breed with the hazel brown eyes, is left without a home once again.
Du Preez passed away after he was hit by a bus and succumbed to his injuries in hospital a few days later.
Du Preez named his dog Fix, because he said Fix was his daily fix to get through life on the street.
They adored each other and Fix never left Du Preez’s side.
Fix is in remarkable condition and currently in the care of the GRSCPA. He is available for adoption and eagerly awaits his new home and new adventures.
If you think you can offer Fix this home, please get in contact with the GRSPCA on 044 878 1990, or visit them at their premises in Ozzy Urban drive.
