GEORGE NEWS - There is great excitement at the Garden Route Mall today with 8 firefighting teams from across the Western Cape competing in the International Firefighting Champs.
The event forms part of International Firefighters’ Day celebrations.
Competitors are showcasing their endurance, strength and overall fitness with challenges such as the “Hose Roll”, the “Fireman’s Carry” and the “Tyre-flip”.
The public is welcome to attend the event being held at the Garden Route Mall until 16:00 today.
