GEORGE NEWS - There is a fault on the power line in New Dawn Park. It is being caused by the numerous amounts of kites that are currently stuck on the overhead lines.
We urge the community to advise children not to fly kites anywhere near the power lines. This is a safety hazard and also causes issues with the power supply.
Electricians are currently busy doing repairs and also removing the kites stuck on the line.
