GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - The last George Business Chamber Boerie Bash of the year this morning, Friday 24 November, made for some fun moments, although the serious topic of car hijacking was being discussed.

Penny Wagnaar from MasterDrive was the guest speaker and gave an informative talk on what to do when you are hijacked.

Guests tried out goggles that induce a virtual drunken or drugged feeling to the wearer, which made for some funny scenes.

Wagnaar said the number of vehicle crashes on South African roads in a year is equal to a passenger airplane falling and killing all its passengers every day for 365 days.
