One of the biggest festivals on the Hindu calendar, Diwali symbolises the victory of light over dark and good over evil.
Visitors from all corners of South Africa gathered together to join their friends and relatives for an evening of authentic Indian cuisine, music and dance.
Guests were entertained by a cultural dance troupe from Port Elizabeth, who were graceful, swift and elegant as they swirled to the rhythms of traditional Indian music.
The Garden Route Hindu Community had every reason to celebrate a very successful Diwali, by organising a most impressive and enjoyable evening for all.
