GEORGE NEWS - Riaan Manser, well-known South African adventurer, has taken on a 40-foot fridge to raise funds for his charity, ‘No food for lazy man trust’ which aims to collect sporting equipment for underprivileged kids.

Nearing the end of his trip from Durban to Cape Town, Manser visits George today and invites the public and corporates to see him gym, shower, and even build his chairs out of blocks of ice inside his sub-zero home on wheels.

Shea Lister, PA to Manser and speaking to the George Herald on Tuesday as Manser and his team neared Grahamstown, confirmed that because a trip like this has never been done before, they are taking everything as it comes. She adds, "So far so good." This weeklong tour, from 19 to 26 February, also serves as preparation for one of Manser’s next challenges ... Iceland!
