GEORGE NEWS - One person was killed in a car accident on the corner of Meade and Albert Streets earlier today.
The accident took place at around 11:00 this morning.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson, Sergeant Chris Spies, the circumstances surrounding the accident are still under investigation.
"Two vehicles, a Toyota Fortuner and a Toyota bakkie collided and the Fortuner overturned. One person in the Fortuner sustained serious injuries and was declared dead by paramedics on the scene," he said.
Emergency services are still on the scene.
