Professor Quinton Johnson, the campus principal of Nelson Mandela University George, is the 2017 Business Leader of the Year. Dr Willie Cilliers, Chairman of the George Business Chamber, hands him his award.

GEORGE NEWS - The Business Person of the Year Awards 2017, presented by the George Business Chamber, was held at Oubaai Golf Resort & Spa Friday night 29 September.

An elated Irene Vermeulen, owner of Olivier & Vermeulen Funeral Services in George, won the coveted title of Business Person of the Year.


Irene Vermeulen, owner of Olivier & Vermeulen Funeral Services, is the 2017 Business Person of the Year. With her is Riaan Marais, Area Manager of Nedbank Business Banking, Headline Sponsor of the George Business Chamber Business Person of the Year Awards.
