GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - Bok fever was still very much present at George Preprimary School's year-end function and diploma ceremony last Saturday evening.
The two young flag bearers who opened the production in Bok jerseys were greeted with enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
Several guests turned up in their Springbok attire, still on a winner's high from the match earlier that morning.
Nine countries were represented in the concert, "Children of the World", showcased on Friday and Saturday at the Outeniqua Primary School hall. Parents and grandparents cheered as the little ones took to the stage in outfits that reflect countries and cultures from around the globe. Germany, America, Alaska, Hawaii, France, Mexico, Spain, Ireland and South Africa formed part of the repertoire.

Colette Rossouw's Grade R class, representing South Africa, impressed with their exceptional hula skills done to the rhythm of the popular Afrikaans song Stukkie van der Merwe, while Vicky Eady's Grade Rs grabbed everyone's attention with their French style high-kick cancan moves.
