Because life is beautiful, Wilderness Art Association is doing it again!

ENTERTAINMENT - The Wilderness Art Festival 2024, with all its creative fun, music and art in 60s hippie style, is on from 17 to 20 October.

The festival and all performances are admission free and open to the public.

The Wilderness Art Festival 2024 will meet everyone's wildest expectations with 80 artists from across South Africa exhibiting and performing at Wilderness Hotel, Wilderness Train Station and Fairy Knowe Hotel & Backpackers - four days packed with fun activities, live music, workshops, book launches and poetry.

Main events

Main events include the launch evening, Night of 1000 Drawings, on Thursday 17 October at 18:00, a charity event at Fairy Knowe Hotel on Friday 18 October at 17:00 and a Colour Fun Run in Wilderness village at 07:00 on Saturday morning, 19 October.

The festival will see plenty of activities, demos, workshops and live music through to Sunday evening.
The Wilderness Art Association will also be launching the Wilderness Writers Guild and a live demonstration of acrylic pouring by the Wood Turners Guild.

Participating restaurants will be hosting wine and gin tastings, and the five art galleries in the village will be open throughout the festival creating an enjoyable creative Art Walk through the village.
