UPDATE @ 13:23 - ATM ROBBERS CAUGHT IN KNYSNA
GEORGE NEWS - The police and neighbourhood watches are on the lookout for a black Renault hatchback which was allegedly used during a robbery at an ATM at Pick n Pay in Knysna Road earlier this afternoon.
According to information circulating on social media, the vehicle, with registration number JG 68 TZ GP, is carrying four African males who also allegedly robbed other people of their bank cards at ATMs at Checkers in Paddagat and the Pick n Pay in Pre-Cap Centre in Courtenay Street.
The robbers were apparently seen in Knysna a short while ago.
We are awaiting information about the incident and confirmation from the police.
