GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - In the heart of Silvertown in Thembalethu, lives Nosicelo Princess Maphila, a woman with a heart as big as her name.
The children at her crèche, Silindile Baby Care, affectionately call her Mama, as she has been like a second mother to them, dedicating her life to their care and education.
On Saturday 9 November, Princess held a small celebration for her class of 5-year-olds who graduated and are going to 'big school' next year.
The South African non-profit organisation, Project Colors, has taken hands with Princess and other creches in Thembalethu and provides them with, amongst other items, an instant porridge called e’Pap. Jeff Ayliffe visited the graduation.
