GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - The eagerly anticipated 22nd George Old Car Show takes place this coming weekend on Saturday and Sunday 10 and 11 February at the PW Botha College grounds in York Street.
Last year the event attracted 12 000 people and this year enthusiasts will again have vehicles from all over South Africa to admire.

On show will be more than 1 000 veteran and classic cars as well as vintage motorcycles and 5 000 model cars.
A large number of motoring clubs from all over the country will also be exhibiting their vehicles.
The Southern Cape Old Car Club (SCOCC), which is hosting the show with main sponsor, Oakhurst Insurance, will be exhibiting 44 vehicles.

Pre-show highlights
A procession of old cars travelled through Pacaltsdorp and Thembalethu on Sunday 4 February to invite residents to support the show.
Fifty pre-1930 vehicles departed on the 2018 Ford Veteran and Vintage Tour through the Klein Karoo on Tuesday 6 February and will return to George tomorrow for the show.
Vintage car collector Mike Alexander, a committee member of the 2018 Ford Veteran and Vintage Tour, sets off in his Ford T 1921.
The group includes 38 Ford models and their owners from all over South Africa.
Two special old cars are on display at the Garden Route Mall to remind shoppers to visit the Old Car Show.
Only vehicles manufactured before 1975, that have been registered, will be exhibited.
