ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Get ready for fiery rhythms, dramatic footwork and a taste of Spain when the dancers of Marlise's School of Spanish Dance take to the stage with Espectaculo at the Market Community Theatre at 18:30 on Saturday 17 October.
The production celebrates 30 years of Spanish dance with the school's Instructora de baile, and features dancers from George, Wilderness and Mossel Bay who have embraced the passion and artistry of the flamenco.
Following a sold-out show in 2024, this year's production promises another colourful journey to the heart of Andalusia, filled with the distinctive rhythms, movement and energy for which the flamenco is known.
The evening is also about supporting the local arts community.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Market Community Theatre, while the production provides a platform for local women who have dedicated themselves to learning and performing Spanish dance.
Tickets for Espectaculo are R150 on Webtickets. - Compiled by Michelle Pienaar
