GEORGE NEWS - A rising star from Thembalethu needs your votes and support as he heads to the 11th SABC Crown Gospel Awards.
Andile Xelegu a well-known figure in Thembalethu, a gospel artist in his own right who has already released a number of albums.
He is also the founder and director of the prestigious Southern Cape Gospel Awards which seeks to honour upcoming local artists and community members who contribute in great measure to the well-being of others.
He has been nominated as the Best Radio Presenter and the Best Community Radio Gospel Show for his show at EDENfm where he revives the spiritual souls of many Southern Cape people.
The national SABC Crown Gospel Awards will take place in Durban on 25 November. The event will be broadcast live on SABC 2 at 20:00. Xelegu has booked flight tickets to Durban. In this regard, he needs all the support he can get.
"It is an honour for me knowing that will not be representing the Southern Cape or George alone, but the whole Western Cape, as I am the only nominee in the province. Any support and donations will be much appreciated," said Xelegu.
