GEORGE NEWS - Plus-size models will take part in the Miss Full Figure George beauty contest which will take place on Friday 22 November at Club Letrax in Pacaltsdorp.
The competition, the brainchild of organiser Carly Adams, seeks to create a platform for plus-size women where they can embrace their femininity, and also encourages them to feel comfortable in their own bodies.
The winner of the George title will have the opportunity to compete for the Miss Full Figure Garden Route title against the winners of other towns in the region.
The competition is open for women aged 18 to 45 from all walks of life. Only ladies from size 38 and above are competing.
Doors will open at 20:00. Ticket sales are open.
