GEORGE NEWS - The Garden Route SPCA has their Bark in the Park event this coming Sunday, 6 October.
SPCA manager Salome Bruyns says Cloud9 will be supplying live music and people are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and camping chairs. There will be food stalls and kids' entertainment will include a play area and the SPCA mascot, Nero.
A 2km or 5km dog walk starts at 13:00. Registration is at 12:30.
The event takes place at the Garden Route Botanical Garden and the entry fee is R5 or a generous bag of dog food.
They will also be offering Identipet microchipping at only R150.
