LIFESTYLE NEWS - The University of the Third Age's (U3A) September programme starts on the 16th with Armchair Travel.

Chris Leggatt will give an illustrated talk on his three-month 16 000km drive around Namibia. 

From the dry coastal dunes of the Namib to the remote Epupa Falls in the northwest, on the border of Angola, and further on to the town of Katima Mulilo at the eastern end of the Caprivi strip, Leggatt visited them all. All members and visitors are invited to enjoy the recounting of his remarkable journey that starts at 10:30.

In the series 'Treasures in Your Home' in the Friday lecture on 25 September, four members will be showing a variety of very interesting 'treasures'. Refreshments will be served at 10:00, and the talk will start at 10:30.

In the general meeting on Wednesday 30 September, Jayden Loots will handle 'More than just investments - a holistic approach to financial planning with estate structuring at its core'. 

This talk explores a holistic approach to financial planning - integrating cash flow management, risk protection, investment strategy and tax efficiency, with a particular focus on estate structuring as a critical yet often overlooked component.

All lectures are at Emmaüs in Memoriam Street, and visitors are always welcome.
