INTERNATIONAL NEWS - The French president, Emmanuel Macron vowed to raise funds worldwide to rebuild the medieval cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris after a major fire destroyed its spire and a large part of the roof.
A devastating fire razed through the Notre Dame Cathedral on Monday, 15 April and caused severe damage.
The cathedral is 850 years old and one of the famous landmarks in Paris.
