GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - The launch of a Youth Zone at Conville Clinic this afternoon 30 June was met with much excitement. Informative talks, games and plays created a fun filled afternoon for youngsters in the area.
The Youth Zone has been described as a responsible step towards caring for the health of the youth, and includes services such as family planning; consultation on HIV/Aids and TB; mental health/illness and substance abuse.
The idea is to create a platform for a more hands on approach towards the health of the youth.
These services will be available to the youth on a daily basis weekdays from 14:00 to 16:00 at their premises, 1 Pienaar Street in Conville.
