Besides having the wonderful opportunity to have their photo taken with Santa, kids could also try their luck at Frosty the Snowman’s Lucky Dip. Happy winners walked away with toys, CD’s, Lindt chocolates, lucky packets and festive candy canes.
The annual Lindt colouring-in competition was lots of fun and most children took part in this exciting event. The lucky winners were Matthew Germanus (age group 2 to 4), Ashton Weir (5 to 7) and Johan Fourie (category 8 to 12 years).
Another highlight, Write a wish list to Father Christmas, gave children the opportunity to ‘post’ their Christmas wishes in Santa’s special post box. Andrea Jacobs’ wish was granted on 24 December when she became the owner of a brand new Disney Barbie.
And not to be outdone, Captain Otto (the Mall’s famous and loved mascot), Christmas Fairy and Santa made their way through the mall on 20 December to hand out winning certificates to be traded for prizes.
