GEORGE NEWS - Call to all men to come and worship God on Friday 6 December at 18:30 at Redberry Farm just outside George on the Geelhoutboom Road.
Last year was the first gathering of 'Worship for Men', an opportunity for men from all back grounds to simply come together and praise and worship God for His goodness and favour.
Organiser Rob Bourke says last year's 'Worship for Men' was a resounding success. "So much so that many of the men that attended the meeting which was held in the Oute-niqua School hall, asked that it be repeated on a regular basis, some even suggested a monthly get-together. This year we have the ideal setting. The owners of the Redberry Farm have kindly agreed to allowed the use their facilities and venue for 'Worship for Men 2013'."
Bourke says the proceedings will be similar to last year. "There are no key note speakers, no sermons, nothing scary and nothing intimidating. We as men will simply come together and praise God under the able leadership of professional gospel musicians. We estimate that the praise and worship will last for about an hour where after the men are invited to fellowship around the braai fires and enjoy a wors roll and a cool drink."
There is no cost involved and an offering will not be taken. If anyone wishes to make a donation they are welcome to do so after the meeting.
This years 'Worship for Men' is being organised by M4G (Men for God), an inter-denominational group of men who have for a number of years been involved in Men's Minis-try. Bourke says they believe that if you can change a man's heart, you can change his entire family.
