WILDERNESS NEWS - All reservoirs are empty or almost empty. The Ebb and Flow Water Treatment Works were unable to work during load shedding today.
Intermittent supply will be implemented with immediate effect.
Water trucks are stationed at the shop in Hoekwil, Touwsranten Community Centre and roaming in Wilderness Heights. If trucks are not visible, please note that they will return after filling up.
5 x 5000 litre Water tanks located at Bundu Supersave and along Remskoen Drive remain in operation.
Update on repair planning and safety considerations
The installation of a temporary pipeline is almost complete. Commissioning of the pipeline is scheduled for tomorrow morning.
