GEORGE NEWS - A veldfire next to Hope Street (next to the railway track) was brought under control earlier this afternoon but flared up again a short while ago.
The fire flared up right next to the George Herald parking lot, and staff members were forced to remove their vehicles.
The George Fire Brigade quickly doused the fire.
Luckily no vehicles were damaged.
