Update
GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Firefighters have managed to contain the wildfire after battling last night, through into the early morning hours of Tuesday 14 June.
The ground crew will focus on mopping up the area today.
Rain is expected after 14:00 today and it will help firefighters to ensure that the Rondevlei area remains safe.
Firefighters from GRDM, Knysna Municipality, and SANParks formed part of the efforts throughout the night and will also keep a watch out for flare-ups.
