GEORGE NEWS - Accompanied by a number of taxis, the marchers have now started making their way to the George CBD, accompanied by a heavy police presence.
The mood among the marchers is peaceful.
Earlier this morning a number of commuters were stranded as taxis were not operating due to the march.
The marchers are passing Conville Police Station on Nelson Mandela Boulevard. The group is led by members of the George Community Forum under a heavy police presence.
