GEORGE NEWS - New Dawn Park is currently without electricity due to an unplanned power outage. The estimate time of repair is 16:00.
The 11kV overhead line is full of kites and this is what caused the outage.
The municipality request the public to not let their children play with kites underneath the 11kV lines. This has caused multiple problems up until now.
