Thunderstorms to escalate from level 6 to 9

GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The South African Weather Service warns Thunderstorms can escalate from level 6 to 9 today and into tomorrow, Monday 25 September.

The Municipality appeals to residents to be alert and cautious. If on the road, avoid flooded areas and rivers and be ready to move to higher ground, if necessary.

Remember to keep pets safe.

The public can fill sandbags at the Fire Department in Mitchell Street.
