GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - Taxis are leaving the GO GEORGE depot in York Street.
The taxi owners appear to be upset as no agreement has been reached.
Four of the six (not 17 as reported earlier) taxis that were impounded earlier today have been released through normal procedure.
Taxis are now heading towards the CBD. Police are following the taxis into the CBD with Nyalas and vans.
One taxi is being impounded as the driver appears to be under the influence.
Provincial traffic officers arrested the driver and took him into the office where a breathalyzer test is being done.
GO GEORGE services remain suspended.
