GEORGE NEWS - On Monday 16 October, Tavcor Volkswagen George presented trophies and four vehicles to the Southern Cape Gospel Awards (SCGA) committee for their awards ceremony to be held at Far Hills Hotel on Sunday 29 October.

Tavcor Volkswagen George is sponsoring the trophies and transport, and has allocated three private cars and a minibus to shuttle delegates to and from their respective venues.

Sales manager Christa Barnard says Tavcor's business is not only about vehicles, but about people. 

"It is about rewarding people, about building relationships with people, and that is why we want to be part of this event. 

"We want to show the public that Tavcor cares about the community and rewards people for things they do. 

"Our role is to build productive and solid relationships with the public."

SCGA Director Andile Xelegu showed great enthusiasm for the partnership with Tavcor George. 

"I am excited and happy. I approached Tavcor last year and they promised to get on board and partner with us this year. They have shown their commitment to community development."
