GEORGE NEWS - The Media Development and Diversity Agency (MDDA), led by Deputy Minister in the Presidency Thembi Siweya (MP), will unveil the brand-new state-of-the-art broadcast studio in George at Heartbeat 103.9 FM on Friday 3 February.
Heartbeat FM is the first Christian radio station to broadcast in the Southern Cape. The first studio was launched in George 2014 and the second studio was launched in Oudtshoorn in 2018.
The station was founded by Avril Ahrends and airs Christian-based programmes that have been successfully introduced to the community with a listenership of more than 190 000.
This makes it one of the largest Christian community radio stations in South Africa.
The new studios will give Heartbeat a new lease on life and elevate the quality of broadcasting, making it appealing to potential partners and propel it to even greater heights.
The unveiling will take place from 09:00 to 13:00 at 95 Meade Street.
