GEORGE NEWS - Want to experience an unusual aspect of George’s night life?
Then join us at the Garden Route Botanical Garden on Friday 18 December to find out what animal life comes alive when the sun goes down.
Be on the lookout for the Knysna dwarf chameleon, interesting insects and birds, as well as the 11 different frog species that live here!
Proceedings start at 18:00.
What you need to bring:
- a flashlight;
- a very good ear to track the frogs’ calls; and lastly
- lots of enthusiasm!
The evening will start off with presentations by:
- Snake and reptile handler and rescue expert Justin Godwin
- Lauren Foss of Birds of Prey
- Amphibian expert Ferdie de Lange
Expert of all things living in the Garden Route Botanical Garden, Colin Ralston, and spider expert Anthea Fuller will also be joining the tour.
