GEORGE NEWS - The search for the man who went missing in the ocean at Herold's Bay yesterday, Saturday 13 November, continues along the coastline.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson, Sgt Chris Spies, emergency services personnel were dispatched to Herold's Bay yesterday at approximately 11:00 after police were alerted of the disappearance of Luvuyo Xoli (37) from Gqeberha.
"Reports from the scene indicate that the man was swimming with friends when he disappeared in the water. A search and rescue operation was launched later the day.
"The search resumed this morning," said Spies.
A team of police divers were also deployed along with a team from the Wilderness NSRI and other emergency services.
