GEORGE NEWS - Wildlife and nature lovers jumped at the opportunity to experience a close encounter with snakes, birds of prey and a mini night-time adventure at the Garden Route Botanical Garden in George last Friday evening.
Families gathered on the lawn in the middle of the garden for an enthralling two-hour live presentation before they embarked on expeditions, armed with torches and headlights, to see what kind of creatures can be found at night.
Some where lucky enough to catch a few frogs, others met up close and personal with spiders, crickets and other creepy crawlies.
For a fun experience, join the next event at the Garden Route Botanical Garden on Monday 28 December at 18:00. Cost: R50 per person; children under 12 free.
