GEORGE NEWS - ER24-paramedics transported two brothers to hospital earlier this morning, Friday 23 October, after a near drowning at Herold's Bay.
The two young men in their 20s were fishing on the rocks to the left side of the beach when one was knocked off the rocks by a wave.
According to initial information the second brother then ran to fetch the pink NSRI buoy to help his brother.
On his way back however, he was also knocked off the rocks into the sea.
Luckily both were able to make it back to shore by themselves and were treated by paramedics on scene before taken to hospital.
