GEORGE NEWS - A 21-year-old woman had quite the scare this afternoon, Friday 14 February, when she was pulled into sea by a rip current at Herolds Bay beach.
According to unconfirmed reports she spent approximately 40 minutes in the water before being rescued by a surfer.
ER24 paramedics were on scene but the patient declined hospital transport.
No lifeguards were present.
