GEORGE NEWS - Thembalethu police launched a manhunt for a gunman who shot and killed a man and wounded another in Zone 7, Thembalethu, on Saturday 30 August at about 22:30.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies, a 53-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to the head and was declared deceased by paramedics on scene.
A 55-year-old man sustained injuries to his head and body. He was taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
The motive for the killing is yet to be established and forms part of an ongoing police investigation.
