GEORGE NEWS - George Herald has been informed that a motorcyclist died last night in a road accident at about 02:30.

The motorcyclist was allegedly travelling from a westerly direction in Courtenay Street and in front of the Precap Centre hit a car from behind that was travelling towards the intersection at Outeniqua High.

The motorcyclist apparently died on impact but the occupants of the car were allegedly uninjured.

More information is being awaited from the police.
