GEORGE NEWS - More than 3 000 people are expected at a religious event that is taking place next Wednesday, 30 October, at the Outeniqua Stadium.
The event, called "Harvest 2019", is organised by the Christian Revival Church (CRC) and the main speaker will be the visionary Christian leader pastor At Boshoff.
Boshoff is described by pastor Naas Vermaak of CRC George as "focused", "passionate" and "fervent" in his hunger for the Word of God. His dynamic teaching is "explosive".
According to Vermaak the CRC believes the church should play a major role in society and contribute to nation-building and transformation in our communities. CRC sees itself as part of the solution.
"Harvest" is an evangelistic outreach that is hosted annually in stadiums in cities across South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and the UK, and Vermaak says tens of thousands of people have heard the Gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ at these events. It will be the first time that it takes place in George and it is planned to become an annual event.
