GEORGE NEWSFLASH - An unknown man was killed on Saturday in the umpteenth mob justice attack in Thembalethu.
According to the police the deceased, who has not yet been identified, was found in Tsunami Park early on Saturday morning.
Information at this stage indicates he was killed by a group of vigilantes.
He died shortly after he arrived at hospital. No arrests have been made.
In another incident last night, Sunday 10 December, police rescued a man from angry community members who assaulted him and took the man to safety.
Four people were arrested. The suspects are due to appear in the Thembalethu Magistrate’s Court today.
Early on Sunday morning a man was stabbed in the neck, allegedly by a friend, during an argument about money.
The victim died on the scene.
The suspect was taken into custody and will appear in court later today.
