GEORGE NEWS - Thembalethu Police have opened an inquest docket after the decomposed body of a man was found next to a river in Zone 8, Thembalethu on Saturday 14 December.
According to Thembalethu police detective commander, Lieut-Col Eric Julies, they are waiting for the results of a post-mortem to determine the cause of death.
At this stage no foul play is suspected but all possibilities will be investigated.
The deceased has been identified by family members who said he went missing last week.
